My daughter got her first Bitty Baby 4 years ago from American Girl and I was amazed at the quality and fast service, both then and now. I place an order and it's at my front door in less than 4 days! Since that time we have added 3 American Girl dolls to her collection, several outfits, and some furniture. Excellent! Their customer service is the best you can find. After my daughter lost all of her American Girl Dolls items from a flood American Girl replaced them all at no charge. We were very suprised to receive so many brand new replacement items from UPS. We weren't expecting them.

Last year my mom purchased my daughter a Marisol doll for Christmas and had it directly sent to our home. On Dec 10 right before we received the doll we found out my mom died in her sleep. So, our Marisol doll became very important to my 7 year old and to us all really. Last summer we went to Disney World and we brought Marisol. Her purple shirt was lost during the trip. We wanted to replace it, so I called customer service. Even though they couldn't find a top for Marisol, the rep spent about 20 minutes exhausting all options before sadly coming back on the phone to tell me she couldn't find one and offered suggestions on how to possibly find another. So, even though we didn't get the Marisol top, the customer service rep went above and beyond trying to help me out. The company stands out as one of the very best in customer service in my book.

I called to ask about how to remove ink stains from doll and about silver eye problem with a doll that is so special. I was told to use ox10 clear wipes or gelfor stain and that the doll with silver eye would be replaced free and that they give dolls free to museums, libraries, and schools to promote literacy. Wow!
